The Ashenbottom bridge has now been reopened to rail traffic. This the final set of photographs shows the progress running up to the reopening in November 2002 and the finished pier in January 2003. Having been clad using a lot of the original stone, a few months weathering will make it hard to tell that the structure is infact a new one. Click on any photo to enlarge.
