BRDW Trainsim CDs - FAQ Section
Cheques and Postal Orders (UK Only) Only UK postal orders and cheques from UK banks can be accepted. Cheques/POs should be made payable to Andrew J Slater. Don't forget to send your address with the payment! Paypal Questions? Paypal allows us to accept credit card payments making it possible to send CDs worldwide and also offers a credit card facility for those who prefer that method in the UK. An additional charge is made for paypal orders to allow for worldwide postage and the cost of providing the facility (paypal surcharges). Your credit card details cannot be seen when you pay using this method. Delivery Details You should expect to recieve your CD(s) within 21 days (28 days worldwide) - This is a maximum, most of the time orders are dispatched within a day or two. Computer Issues The Microsoft Train Simulator software is NOT included on the disc(s) - you should buy this first! The software package is provided with a full installation program which has been fully tested making installation trouble-free. Neither BR Dieselweb or the copyright holders accept any liability for any computer damage, loss of data or other technical problems resulting from the use of Microsoft Train Simulator or the software package(s) provided here. Returns Policy In the unlikely event that your CD won't work or has been damaged in transit you should contact us immediately. High quality CDR discs are used but these need to be treated with care and don't last forever. It is strongly suggested that you make a backup copy when you receive your disc(s) if you have the facility. If you have mistreated the disc and/or scratched the surface we will be unable to replace it - under such circumstances we will offer a disc-only replacement at a reduced price. Broken cases cannot be replaced. License and Copyright Information For a full list of copyright holders see the credits page relative to the disc(s) you have purchased. Unauthorised copying (apart from a personal backup), hiring and lending are prohibited. No part of any CD can be adapted or used in anyway whatsoever without prior permission. If you are in any doubt get in touch first. Please don't copy this disc for your friends - ask them to buy a copy themselves and support the restoration of D5705 (see below) Donations to the COBO Locomotive Group All proceeds from the sale of train simulator add-on discs are donated to the COBO Locomotive Group who are restoring D5705, the only remaining example of its type. D5705 is based at Bury on the East Lancashire Railway.
